When Kiona was getting ready to launch her new tea room business in St. Petersburg, Florida, she knew she needed more than just a good logo and a cute Instagram handle. She needed visuals that would help her stand out, establish trust, and make an unforgettable first impression. That’s where I came in to create tea room marketing photos!
As a Tampa-based brand photographer, I work with creative service providers all over the state and this tea room marketing photoshoot was such a fun one to be part of. From day one, Kiona had a clear vision for her business, Kiona’s Tea Room: an inviting escape in the heart of St. Petersburg, where calm meets celebration and every sip tells a story.
Capturing the Fairytale Experience at Kiona’s Tea Room
When Kiona first reached out to me about a branding session, her goal was so much more than just beautiful photos of her delicious food. She had created a place that guests described as a “charming little world straight out of a storybook,” and her visuals needed to tell that full, enchanting story.
For a brand like Kiona’s Tea Room, the challenge isn’t about selling a product; it’s about selling an experience. How do you visually communicate the feeling of stepping into a “little slice of tranquility” or being made to feel like “royalty”? The answer isn’t just in the beautifully set tables or the dainty sandwiches. It’s in the strategic polish and authentic emotion captured in every frame.
Our goal for this session was to go beyond the menu and into the moments. We focused on capturing the delicate artistry of the pastries, yes, but we also highlighted the cozy atmosphere and the genuine warmth of Kiona’s personality. These photos were designed to evoke a feeling; to show potential guests what it truly feels like to slow down, be un-rushed, and enjoy a magical afternoon.

The ultimate proof is in the response. Seeing the incredible reviews from her guests, using words like “unforgettable experience” and “a fairytale afternoon,” tells me that we didn’t just capture photos, we captured the heart of her brand.
