As a branding photographer, few things bring me more joy than helping incredible women entrepreneurs truly see themselves and their vision come to life through strategic images. And when it comes to Tampa personal chef branding photos, working with Brittanie from Get Food Therapy was an absolute delight! Brittanie is more than just a personal chef; she’s a mom, a yoga lover, and a passionate advocate for healthy living that fits seamlessly into a busy life.

Cooking Up a Brand Transformation
Brittanie reached out because she knew her current headshots and brand visuals weren’t quite reflecting where her business was headed. She needed updated images that captured her as a mom and a yogi, blending her lifestyle with her professional expertise.
Beyond just headshots, Brittanie needed photos that would show her process, from using fresh, healthy ingredients and non-toxic cooking tools, to the magic of the cooking journey itself, and finally, the beauty of the delicious, finished meals. She wanted clients to truly understand the “Get Food Therapy” experience.

Planning for Brittanie’s Upleveled Brand
This wasn’t just about taking pretty pictures; it was about laying the visual foundation for Brittanie’s evolving brand. We kicked off our planning with a deep dive into her goals for Get Food Therapy, discussing her “why” and where she envisioned her brand in the next 6-12 months. This approach made sure that the final images would align with her upleveled brand, not just where it was at that moment.
We worked closely on the overall vibe: professional, yet with a touch of approachable luxury. This informed every decision, from her carefully selected outfits, to the perfect shoot location. We chose a stunning Peerspace home in Tampa, FL, specifically for its gorgeous, light-filled kitchen, which was the ideal backdrop to highlight Brittanie’s healthy cooking philosophy. We also brought props that spoke to her personal passions as a mom and yoga enthusiast, all while including her brand colors to make the images cohesive.
Seamless Sessions & Stunning Results
To make sure Brittanie felt confident and that we captured every essential shot, I created a detailed shoot plan before our session. This comprehensive guide included our shot list, wardrobe inspiration, a complete list of props, location details, and a precise session timeline. Having this plan in hand on the day allowed us to stay on track, ensuring we accomplished all our goals without missing a beat.
Props for a personal chef branding photos
Brittanie wanted her clients to know that she not only cooks with healthy ingredients, but she uses healthy, non-toxic tools as well. She also wanted to incorporate her yoga and mom lifestyle.
Here are a few of the props that she brought to her session:
- Non-toxic cookware
- Outfits in brand colors
- Mom mug and shirt
- Yoga mat
- Healthy drink
- Laptop and phone
Knowing the Rules As A Brand Photographer
Knowing the ins and outs of a brand photographer’s role extends beyond just the camera. Since we were utilizing a styled home for Brittanie’s Tampa personal chef branding photos, respecting the space was so important. We worked closely with the owner and I took extra care to ensure we left the home in immaculate condition. I even brought antibacterial wipes to clean all counters and surfaces we used! I also made sure we didn’t use any glitter or confetti (a fun tip to avoid extra cleaning fees and maintain professionalism). And, of course, I diligently kept track of our time to ensure we exited within our allotted booking.
A Little Brand Magic (and a Pinup Girl!):
Every session has its unique moments, and Brittanie’s was no exception! While we were capturing her cooking shots, there was a TV screen in the background playing music. Coincidentally, the image on the screen was of a 50’s pinup girl which perfectly matched Brittanie’s vibe! It was one of those unexpected, fun details that added a touch of personality to the day.

Why This Session Was So Special
What truly made this Tampa personal chef branding photos session special was Brittanie’s authentic “why.” As a dedicated mom, she’s building her business with incredible determination, all while nurturing a healthy environment for her children. She wants to ehelp other busy moms by showing them that healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated or overwhelming. Her photos needed to reflect this by demonstrating that healthy ingredients can be cooked in simple, healthy ways. We showed the cooking process and the beautiful, finished product.
Brittanie’s new images are powerful visual testament to her mission. It’s truly inspiring to help a fellow woman business owner beautifully capture her purpose and propel her brand forward!
